About Time Out London Blog

Time Out Digital produces websites, applications and content for Time Out London, Time Out Guides and other Time Out businesses.

Overview

“Now. Here. This.” is Time Out London’s blog where users can check in for insider news, tips and deals from the world of food, fashion, arts, culture and more. Fublo were briefed to design and develop the theme which would incorporate some of their experimental brand elements and strategies.

Working alongside the magazine’s Art Director, Nick Booth, we created the look and feel for “Now. Here. This.”. We used Andy Taylor’s 1140 grid system, adding customisations to provide a clean and structured framework to serve the daily content across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms. We developed a plugin to give the editor the ability to adapt the header image as required.

Working with Nick Booth who art directed the project, we created a clean and concise template for the site.

“James and Mark are WordPress experts, having successfully blogged on the platform for years. They are always on top of the latest plugins and techniques so were a natural choice for Time Out London's 'Now. Here. This.' blog. They worked fast and achieved the perfect balance between being flexible to our requests and offering insight into best use of the platform. I'd happily recommend Fublo to anyone considering setting up on WordPress.”
