About Lux Monkey
Lux Monkey is a Creative Visual Content Agency based in Soho, London. Their projects include online video and broadcast to event and catwalk coverage. They produce virals, commercials, music videos and corporate films through their writing, shooting, directing, graphics and editing.
Overview
This project focused creating a brand new website for Lux Monkey to enhance their digital offering and their extensive portfolio of video work.
The team's major goals were to showcase the agency’s work in a clean, easy to manage site that reflected their exist brand elements. Along side this, the site had to be responsive in design for mobile and tablet devices.
We used the Skeleton framework to produce a responsive custom theme for the site
Custom work and client structure
To incorporate the client hierarchy schema into the new site, we extended WordPress by adding a custom post type for work items. By adding to the site’s functions and linking clients to work items, we were able to create archive pages and sub client pages with ease.
This enables users to sort through Lux Monkey's work in a fast, modular fashion. Client testimonials are linked to specific clients with Silviu-Cristian Burca's "Posts 2 Posts" plugin.

A refresh and update to Olli Ella’s UK and Australia WordPress sites to support the launch of their two ranges of bedding products and subsequent marketing. ECommerce work included adding Ogone as a payment gateway and creating new product templates.
